The 24‑hour visa‑free transit policy applies to citizens of all countries worldwide. It is limited to the port area only. A temporary entry permit is required if you need to leave the port.
The 240‑hour visa‑free transit policy applies to citizens from 55 designated countries. Inter‑provincial travel is permitted within designated zones across 24 Chinese provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.
Ningbo falls within the permitted area for tourism. Note: The time count starts from 00:00 on the day after entry. Only tourism, business visits and family reunions are allowed. Work and study are prohibited under this policy.

10 月 17 日，上海大型国际社区文化盛会 Great British Day Out（英伦奇遇日）将在上海举办。宁波市文化广电旅游局将设立专属文旅展台，这也是宁波入境游 “六进推广” 工作的重要实践。

The Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism will set up an exclusive tourism booth, marking an important practice of Ningbo’s ‘Six‑Initiative Promotion’ for inbound tourism.
